Our innovation arm ForPurposeCo. was set up as a social enterprise in April 2018 to build capability, diversify revenue streams and increase funding to sustain OzHarvest into the future. With a mission to invest in new ideas, innovative products and services that align with OzHarvest values, it’s already kicking goals with three amazing projects.
JUICE FOR GOOD 
- An innovative new vending machine that transforms over 10 tonnes of rejected oranges, sourced from Aussie farmers, into delicious juice each week.
WINNOW
- As the official distribution partner for Australia and New Zealand, ForPurposeCo. is busy engaging the hospitality sector with this innovative food waste reduction technology. With a dedicated Customer Success Manager on board, marketing is well underway and 14 sites have already signed up.
BIOTECHNOLOGY PILOT
- ForPurposeCo. is working with an exciting start up and one of Australia’s largest growers of avocados to test impressive biotechnology that can extend the shelf life of fresh fruit and vegetables. This will have the potential to reduce the enormous amounts of food waste at the farm and retail level.
