The new OzHarvest Food App uses digital technology to tackle food waste and hunger in areas where our yellow van model can’t reach. The app helps local communities support each other by connecting food donors directly with local charities on a regular basis to make a tangible difference to people’s lives.

After a successful pilot program, Woolworths and Bakers Delight are both trialling the app in a number of stores.

Thanks to Google Impact Challenge funding, we are able to grow the reach of the app by offering free subscriptions to small/medium size food donors across the country.
